Audiological and Vestibular Care of Patients with Parkinson’s Disease
This presentation focuses on how Parkinson’s disease can affect balance, hearing, and dizziness. These symptoms are common but often overlooked. We’ll talk about why these changes occur, how they can affect daily life (such as walking safely, communicating, and avoiding falls), and which tests and treatments can help. The goal is to provide practical, easy-to-understand information so individuals with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners feel more informed, empowered, and confident in seeking supportive care and improving quality of life.
